—> Excel~a Shouts Out about a local, women’s lunch discussion: Friday, 11.20.09 from 11:30 – 1:30 in my lower Queen Anne office space.  Seating is limited to the first 20 women who RSVP – email Hillary: imexcela@gmail.com for directions and to reserve a spot.

The luncheon discussion will focus on the book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.  Read Bill Gates, Sr. review of the book for a pre-taste.

Three local,  women will be panelist during the lunch discussion.  Here’s the line-up ladies:

  • Jessica Annis ~ local, passionate woman.  I met her at the lunch discussion of Half the Sky…hosted last Thursday on 10.15.09.  She is doing amazing work through the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  I caught a taste of her work and pizzaz in our brief, lunch encounter and want more…trust me, you will want to hear more from this woman too!  O.k., I’ll stop saying more…
